Obi do you think this might be a (read between the lines) situation?
Is there a significance to the change in the wording?
The change in wording is obvious to me but the significance is not so obvious to me.
I read the other opinions posted here concerning this new language but it seems we are looking very hard to find anything positive concerning FnF.
Go FnF

Previous FMCC earnings reports (8-K) and annual reports (10-K) used a boilerplate report regarding the announcement of dividend obligations to the Treasury. The boilerplate was used again with regard to dividend obligations, and to this, the word "scheduled" was added.

See: http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=128755241

So, the boilerplate was changed slightly for the 4th Quarter 8-K and Annual 10-K. The addition of "scheduled" required some degree of forethought and is not a haphazard alteration. That is, there may be some out of the ordinary influence and discussion in reporting that stimulated the writers and editors to make this change in more than one place and in two different reports and for these additions to be approved for publication by FMCC personnel.

Adding the word "scheduled," may indicate a degree of tentativeness about the dividend obligation payment date. The payment date could change or be rescheduled.

The addition does not indicate that the dividend obligation will not be paid or that the SPSPAs may be cancelled.

The significance of the addition of "scheduled," will be enhanced if the FNMA 8-K and 10-K contain the same or similar addition.
