Oh, for sure, the short manipulation machine will try to to take it down by playing to people's fears but it'll have nothing to do with "the market" thinking that any of this matters. All traders and the mm's playing their games, as usual. Meanwhile, the smart shorts will take advantage of it by continuing to cover.
