I scanned the prospectus but couldn't interpret the realized loss transaction of decay. Semi-difficult vehicle to fully understand but certainly creates the exponential gain opportunity for short term trades. I wanted some gold exposure and had been following NUGT and JNUG to near bottoms and saw a trend reversal in December. Entered both in late January. Nice returns. I simply don't want to overstay my welcome and let decay begin to break down the gains. FWIW, I'm staying in gold mode but I may move into a less volatile vehicle near early summer or if the trend begins to revert.
