Bannon has been a film maker, and a quick look at his political films and documentaries shows him promoting the usual suspects of the controlled Right - people like Sarah Palin ('The Undefeated'), Michele Bachman, Ann Coulter ('Fire from the Heartland: The Awakening of the Conservative Woman'). And predictably, Bannon loves the Tea Party, hates Occupy Wall St, and hates the Clintons. So in this Bannon is just like the phony Right operatives Rush Limbaugh, Hannity, etc.

I'll keep researching Bannon, but so far he looks like a controlled operative of the 'third tier'. As we know, the powers that be put a lot of effort into controlling both sides of the political debate, with ABC-Fox-PBS-NY Times being the first tier, then a 2nd tier with the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck on the 'Right', and Amy Goodman, Bill Moyers on the 'Left'. With the Internet they now have to control a third tier - Drudge, Huffington Post, Breitbart, Infowars.

It's hard to control all these alternate sources, so it's not impossible that Bannon may have 'gone rogue'. Either way it looks like a wild/crazy year ahead..
