I fully expect it to be approved and really quickly once the legislation is provided. Our Prime Minister is a young guy who has very liberal views on a lot of stuff, he is in support of legalizing it. However, more so than that is the fact that the government knows they can make a lot of money from it by taxing the sales. As I'm sure you know, our booze is sold in government locations (LCBO, The Beer Store) which the government taxes like hell. That's why booze is so much more expensive up here and can't just be purchased at convenience stores. They know the potential market for MJ and the fortune they can make by legalizing it and taxing it.

Here's my prediction: Legislation put forward in May or June, approval (likely after some amendments) in late 2017, comes into effect in early 2018. Even after the huge drop from 5 cents to 2 cents (which I lost a lot of sleep over!), I kept telling myself to expect rides like this as I plan to hold my shares until at least summer 2018.
