why would a long sell now?

Who would be long in this in the first place
Stevie Wonder could see this was a turd a long time back and the earnings all 12 million in revenue lol for the quarter confirmed it. It been an obvious GE enrichment scheme for the last 2 months ever since the staged November run up after the 3 rd split when the float was down to very low numbers, this lured in all the little pigs thinking this would run up again, all the while GE was enacting is real plan which was to sell $200 million of long term crap.

The plain fact is DRYS business model does not work

It has 13 mainly old bulkers on spot rates which are crap, because of the age of most of the vessels it will not get top dollar rates on long charters that is why they are on the spot market. He also had to sell off lots of ships to keep the light on at rock bottom pricing.

It has a part paid gas carrier and if it orders the other 3 it will have zero cash and Over $200 million in debt, the only silver lining would be the charters on the ships, which still would not make this a stellar long hold, oh yes and who holds the debt GE of course who would have no qualms about taking the shiny new ships back at discount for payment on said debt.

Its just a crap stock/comapny and i have read at least a million ( feels like it anyway) meaningless shouts of SHORT SQUEEZE or SHORTY is going to pay, shorts have made hay for months on this turd and most have left town, they and GE were the real winners, only one real loser here that is the real longs, holding a stock for a couple of days does not count as being a long LOL, even though most times with this turd it will cause you to lose $.
