There is one problem though - they may have filed an 8K about the "event" but they are delinquent with the SEC in their filings.
The pressure is on them now. Will they file a form 15 to deregister their shares and go dark or risk being suspended because of all their late filings - delinquent one full year on their quarterlies and approaching two years since their last audited 10K.

The SEC now has a filing from the company claiming they were not involved. Once FINRA investigates the trades - if they turn out to have sold shares during this period - there will be trouble.

I wouldn't count a suspension out.
