Except it never increases the value of the shares, because they always follow up reverse-splits with massive dilution. Last time they tried the reverse, no one bit and the stocked tanked on the news, and continued to tank after the split.

Shortly after this 50-1 reverse-split, the stock PPS was LOWER than before split.

They just increased the AS from 9 to 20 billion. Do the math.
