Just glanced at XSLV, an obscure small cap low volatility ETF so it hits 2 points of the 5 points in that series of articles. Trouble is, XSLV came out just a few years ago. Small caps have taken off in that period after doing poorly going into The Great Recession.

It's a huge mistake to judge XSLV or most investments from performance in a raging bull market. Those 5 nice write-ups are somewhat flawed for the same reason. Still, they probably have some merit which is why I posted that.
