There are other social media (private boards, for example) where dissenting opinions are not allowed. At least on Ihub, everybody is free to express an opinion as long as TOS are obeyed.

I beg to differ. I am fairly certain you got much of your information from Ihub and perhaps other social media sites. So yes, you were told to buy and you were free to either buy or not buy. You made the choice to buy. Fortunately, you have done quite well. That's not always the case. And those that were told to buy at $0.20, and did buy? Well, they are currently a bit upside down.
