NASA Creates Vanadium Coated Radiator...

"Vanadium oxide turns out to be the ideal coating choice as it can change state from a semiconductor to a metal when the temperature reaches 154 degrees Fahrenheit. This state change greatly enhances the radiator's ability to emit energy and therefore regulate heat."
