As others have pointed out. "preclinicals" are not human clinical trials. That preclinical is animal data and is what goes into the IND application along with manufacturing info and the proposed plan for human trials seeking FDA approval to proceed.

Maybe we should just fire off the question to Della Penna for an answer eh ?
