Arbitrary, perhaps you can help me understand something.

As we know, Sphere has claimed that Glassware can deliver "thousands of users on a single server" and "we ran over 8,000 concurrent users at Dell World", right?

So, can you tell me why they would waste time, money and resources selling a solution like the one you describe? Why sell a solution, based on VMware View/Horizon that only delivers 100 users per server, instead of 8,000 users per server using Glassware? Wouldn't that level of competitive advantage destroy the competition? Wouldn't that be the path to massive sales success and YUGE revenue?

In fact, as Eric Kelly said, "we make VMware redundant" so why even bother selling a VMware based appliance? Come to think of it, why spend $16 million to buy the VMware based V3 IP and assets if you have such a superior solution developed in-house?

Hope you can help me understand these contrary positions and seemingly irrational marketing and acquisition decisions.

Thanks
