What has Ascent done while others fail (slide 9)
Paradigm shift in strategy and business model
1. Pivot away from traditional solar market
2. Focus on high-value PV applications and consumer market
2a. Sell product at $4-$100/ watt compared to 50 cents/watt
2b. Customers interested in functionality, lightweight and durability rather than cost.

So right there the company States as their 1st 2 core parts of their business strategy.

They are not a solar player or in the solar market in regards to utilities or subsidies.
