So companies don't jump at good news to promote their product? They don't promote when they win awards for bestest of the bestest? Or is it because they don't have a fulltime PR staff or a fulltime IT department? I know of no company that wouldn't promote their product if it was given a legit award stating how great it was. That news would hit the streets in a jiff. It generates sales and lots of it.
Vendors? Why would you contact vendors and not the company directly? Vendors only move the product and have nothing to do with promoting products. Vendors get their promotion material directly from the company that produces or has the product produced.
