Impact...when you called he told you there was an offer on the table? I am not clear on what you are saying. If there is an offer they will let everyone know at the same time if they are in talks. If they flat out reject it I do not think they have to tell anyone but I might be wrong.
Can hou make yourself clear on why you are telling people to call up when they can not say a word unless they have a "press release".
