I know high management @ Scotturd n Eturd...and I used to think like u...like many experienced traders...but that is not the case...even if u locked up all your shares or position @ a high price...SOBs...could still take your shares n lend it other buyers...in other words...they could still short...If you have a margin account & truly don't want those SOBs to borrow any of your stocks to short...then u have to request some kind of doc. to sign n then fax/return to them...I forget the name of that doc. Best not to have a margin acc.
