All we know is the drug got approved and the stock went down.
Could be related to the diarrhea warning on the label, the fact they might need to raise a lot of money to bring the drug to market themselves, profit taking, the bad market, doubts they can find a partner or buyer, the short position, some manufactured bullshit about differentiation from a JP Morgan sell-side analyst, or any combination of same.
This stock has a lot of suspect moving parts but it's fairly evident this is a great drug.
BTW: Isn't Andy Dufresne a pen name? Is this guy a major Shawshank Redemption fan?
