You mentioned that Medicare pays only 80%; however, it pays 80% of their approved amount which makes a huge difference. This past week I received a bill for lab work. The lab charged $826.00 but Medicare approved only $68.64. My 20% of $68.64 was rounded off to exactly $13. Nice. Are you eager to retire? LOL
