Okay get this; I called the local Costco and got a hold of the electronics sales department. I told the manager I heard they were going to be getting the SLS home theater system as I was interested in purchasing one. Her first response was, "Who told you that!". I told her I heard it from a person who works there. I said something to the effect that I would like to wait until they get it as opposed to buying at BB due to cost. SHE said, "Yeah our cost will be cheaper and the service plan superior, etc." I asked her how soon they would be getting them and she got kinda standoffish again. She was very well versed in the product and appeared to have been through some product orientation which would jive with what the guy said on his way to Las Vegas. Apparently, Costco is indeed getting them but I could not get her to tell me when. If anyone has Costco near them, call and see what kind of response you get. I think I will try my local Circuit City as well...
