What is in it for the FDA to jump in the middle ?

What is their "interest" or "entitlement" to do so other than as witness.

Maybe Inventiv called them to complain "Hey, you should have already handled this..." and now FDA is covering their butts and own authority.

...which WOULD explain their choice words in the last prospectus...

Which equates to two thumbs-down on both of these issues unless the legal team is dynamite
