If congress has their way, they will keep our shares worthless for the foreseeable future, those bandits.
One thing most people are forgetting, Fannie and Freddie cannot continue having their profits stolen each quarter. Mel Watt said if this is not stopped/remedied and they are not recapitalized Fannie and Freddie will go bankrupt and all the shareholders will be wiped out by 2018. Thats a little over 1 year from now. Congress does not care if they wipe out Fannie and Freddie until it happens and then they will have an emergency meeting to find out what went wrong and the finger will be pointing at them for gross abuse and negligence. Fannie and Freddie cannot continue with the NMS stealing Fannie's and Freddie's profits.
