The thing is that no one cares if Red13, or longtrailer, buys shares. A buy might boost the daily move a smidgen, but so what. If I buy 100,000 shares, will that induce you, longtrailer, to buy more? I doubt it; there's no reason it should. I would not make an investment choice based on longtrailer's buying or selling

If Mars buys shares, people think "Ho, ho, the CEO is buying, I'd better get in on that. She has insider information. She has demonstrated confidence in the company's future with her own money."

I don't care about daily moves and have never commented on them. I do care about trends, and trends will not be affected by either of us.
