You are forgetting the most important thing, reputation! Caldive sold off its shallow water fleet years ago because it wasn`t profitable and upgraded it`s Multi service DP vessel. The Uncle John was the bread and butter money maker for Caldive and even up to 2 years before they went chapter 11 they were having hard to keep it working as it was one of the only one left working, except for Texas as that still had a contract left in Mexico. Like I said they never upgraded the fleet and they burned alot of essential third party contractors that are needed to do a dive job.
