Medical Marijuana Inc (OTCMKTS:MJNA) Enters Mexico With CBD Oil

Medical Marijuana Inc (OTCMKTS:MJNA) seem to be taking its cannabis based drugs business a notch higher with its subsidiary entering the Mexican market. The company’s subsidiary, HempMeds has created one of its kinds of cannabis-based export alliance with Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Mexico. The subsidiary has started with the export procedure of Real Scientific Hemp Oil and THC-free counterpart called Real Scientific Hemp Oil-X. The cultivation for the plants is done across northern European microclimates.

Mexican health department inclines toward import permit for CBD oil
What is interesting is that Cofepris, the Mexican health department, earlier in 2016, had shown inclination towards import permit of the CBD oil. This was its first permit that allowed importing hemp-based CBD oil from across the geographical borders. Only recently, Mexico also softened its response for the no-THC stance, leading a way for legitimacy of medical marijuana.

Medical Marijuana Inc’s products work when others fail
Medical Marijuana Inc sees itself with an added advantage. There is a reason here. The company’s CEO, Stuart Titus recently commented that albeit there is cartel violence across Mexico, but the authorities have seen a CBD potential. Titus stated that, “Today we remain the only legal cannabis-based products allowed into the country.”

Now here is yet another interesting claim by the company’s CEO. Mr. Titus also says that Mexico presents huge opportunity for the company. He believes that, “Our products seem to work when traditional medications” fail to control seizures.

Strict regulation of medication
Nevertheless, albeit legalization of medical marijuana in Mexico, there are conditional permits applicable for CBD products. These medications, which are primarily based on cannabis or marijuana, are strictly monitored and regulated there. The primary condition is that all these products should enter Mexico without tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) or psychoactive properties.

Even Brazil has same conditions for import with this company. Medical Marijuana Inc sells hemp oil in Brazil and it started back in 2014 for Parkinson’s disease, chronic pain and epilepsy treatments.
