I would have agreed with you a few years ago.
But the issue I see is that your statement is just an uninformed opinion.
Don't get me wrong jazz I respect your opinions a lot. But "it could be done faster"....
How can you know this really.
There is no comparison that I know of.
There is nothing to point at and say ...see that's how you do this.

With things like drugs and fda approval taking 10 years is nothing. It's easy to say you are taking too long after 15 because there are thousands of examples to say it takes between x and y years to take a drug to market.

How could you speed up the process?
Domestic production? No.
It couldn't be done until dragon silk came to be.
DS is something that might carry the premium for domestic production.
And it just showed up recently.

Overseas production either had regulations in the way or it was in a place you wouldn't want to produce for political or security issues.

Kims mistake is exactly the same as yours.
He thought he could do it faster but found out by actually trying that it was much harder than it seems.

He spoke up and said what he THOUGHT and we all thought he KNEW since he was on the drivers seat.
But since nobody has ever done this nobody KNEW (or knows) what it will take.

We are all still taking our best guess including kim.

I just think "it's taking too long" should be followed with a solution that would make it faster.
Remember when CH said MS wouldn't be ready for a couple years?
He obviously doesn't think it's taking too long.

He seems to be right on target.
And if anyone knows he does.

And when he said that I thought..."it can be done faster than that".
I was wrong then.
I think the statement is still wrong.

It CAN'T be done any faster.
