We’re about to replace an intelligent, thoughtful, good-humored, decent man with a mentally ill idiot.

With all our faults and misdeeds, we are still a nation who managed to elect leaders like Jefferson, Adams, Lincoln, FDR, JFK. And now, this…this…vile creature.

After Vietnam and Nixon I thought I’d lived through the worst. I lie in bed at night, I wake in the morning, continually during the day I think, “This cannot be happening.”

This is a national tragedy, on par with the Civil War, Pearl Harbor, 911.

And half our citizens celebrate.
