Obi, I agree with your conclusion. Anyone can see there were accomplices. As stated, many participated in the organizing, planning, executing and adjusting in attempt to succeeding. And the silence! Oh, lots of silence! Maybe past time one should worry less about having Justice and more about restoring Justice. One needs to know where the snake head is to avoid its poison.

In addition to knowing how to identify and manage a venomous snake, would it be useful to name all the snakes and their species, even if this includes some of us? smile

Restoring justice can occur when there is a mutual willingness to meet, mediate, conference, make amends and eventually transform legal, social and political persons and structures, especially in criminal cases. The GSE cases are civil cases and not criminal ones, though for many observers, the Defendants and the actors behind them are seen to have crossed the line into sociopathy and criminality.

The political and legal conditions currently surrounding the GSEs and the persons involved in creating, maintaining and defending these conditions at all costs for political, economic and legal interests as evidenced in the legal briefs, while wholly disregarding claims and continuing to damage others, appear far beyond being susceptible to attempts at restorative justice. What workable alternative is there other than following the rule of law? What else can be done?

Is there a perspective and plan that can be made for restoring justice in the GSE cases given the strict adversarial, resistant and unyielding approach taken by the Defendants? This would certainly be welcome if practicable.

And, if there is a misunderstanding here about restoring justice, please do not hesitate to give a corrective.
