You're right on about the fluctuations and swings in price (both positive and negative). My strategy will be to stick my head in the sand and try to not look at my balance sheet. I'll read the 8k and 10k statements that come out, and hopefully resist the urge to sell. But, (full disclosure), I'll also sell when I have enough money in my account to purchase a lake house with cash.
