Most suspect Christopher Steele and his wife are enjoying a break at an MI6 safe house in another country at her Majesty's expense. A small town in the Netherlands perhaps.

It wouldn't be helpful to the British government to have Steele being stalked by the press and being asked questions at the moment until this drops from public interest.

We've run out of other people's Social Security taxes needed to subsidize our low income tax rates.
