That post of yours just brought the average down by about 10 points.

Why would any viable company spin off shares to you for no reason? Where are the lines of credit? Hypothecating someone else's bond to secure a line of credit is not much different that taking out a second mortgage, there are greater risks. I know I'm a minority here, but I would think it would be better to invest these highly leveraged funds into companies with actual earnings, operational histories and existing business relationships. Inventing new companies and new JV's will not offer much safety, nor any return on any investment.
