And the recitation of the side effects to be watched for with use of BMY's Opdivo is just as long...indeed, a low-voiced recitation of that list that accompanies the advertisements of Opdivo on TV is as as long as the ad itself.

Dr. Wolchok commented on that list during his 12/07/2016 Wistar lecture, referring in part to the NY times articles appearing in early November and December and posted here.

He opined that much good has come from the work done and results accomplished so far, but much more needs to be done to make treatments using those immunotherapy agents useful with a better cost /benefit ratio, not to mention freedom from undesirable side effects. RRRS still unsatisfactory.
