You're not seeing the writing on the wall politically speaking lilpuppy. Trump chose the head of a huge cannabis fund to take a prominent position on his transition team to the White House. He is a staunch believer in states' rights and has already clearly expressed his support for medical cannabis, which thanks to power hitters like CNN's most influential person (a number of years back), Sanjay Gupta, is now indelibly imprinted onto the nation's psyche through images of 7 year old children on death's door virtually coming back to life and resuming full functionality with the use of CBD.
Do you think Trump is willing to take away the life saving powers of medical cannabis from future children suffering with Dravet's syndrome, while simultaneously killing billions of $$ in national revenue and job creation forged over the past several years?? You think he wants to be that guy? LOL I think not brother.
Bottom line is Jeff Sessions was chosen not for his stance on cannabis, but in actuality for his beliefs and hard line on immigration (look into it). He will ultimately do Trump's bidding which is contrarily to proliferate the cannabis sector with the help of his transition team member/cannabis activist Peter Thiel.
There is too much $$ to be made, and Trump is too smart not to see that he would be waging a losing battle trying to fight against the inevitability of national legalization given that Canada, along with a multitude of other countries are now getting on the cannabis bandwagon, not to mention the United Nations revisiting an international rescheduling of cannabis in 2018. No The Donald didn't become a billionaire... then "trump" overwhelming odds and attain the presidency, only to then try to squash an already multi billion $$ cannabis industry that could in itself save the economy. He is a businessman first and foremost.
Sit on the sidelines in fear my friend. Then watch the rest of us bank profoundly once he reaffirms his support for the cannabis industry...
