johngo, I agree...I was an operations mgr of a small software company in the mid 90's. We created a credit card processing system that serviced retail/restaurant/hotel and multiple merchant applications. It was considered the Cadillac of the industry. We were eventually bought out by a large credit card issuing bank. They eventually sold out to Bank One... Our offices were extremely casual approaching bohemian. We marketed our products to banks and directly to large chain merchants. Websites weren't as common then, but it didn't matter as sales of the product were done in person. We had a very small sales staff (2 then 4) but eventually trained the banking staff's how to market our product. We were set up with all the large banks. Names that everyone would know. That effort expanded our appeal exponentially. Service was provided by a 7/24 help desk. I see this product as having a similar appeal in terms of how it will be marketed. Websites can be for information only and still be effective. glta
