Not sure how much of what is proposed I agree with (it may be ok but may cause another major crisis )

I do like the below - although he was not specific on who owns what and exactly how we the current owners are treated

Instead, the Trump administration should move toward a future system in which private markets take the risks in mortgage lending, not taxpayers, and the basic infrastructure of the system is in a government utility, and not a too-big-to-fail duopoly.

(note while I agree - there still must be "Some form" of ultimate back up the Federal Government to have the low interest rates and liquidity needed - at the same time)
