Hi Richie, for a particular reason, I looked in on this board for the first time in eons and saw your post. The patents surely have no monetary value for management or anyone else. There must be innumerable ways to build a taxi meter without violating a patent. Considering a filing cannot infringe or even incorporate known technology, the patents Fare have received are probably so narrow in scope as to pose scant encumbrance to a rival.
