I just came back from Montreal for New Years and saw nothing at gas stations. And no product. You also would all know by now. Retailers pay upfront for their fuel. Not later or after its "pumped".

You don't want to wait for where it is being pumped. What you want to see is a paid order and if there was a paid order you would hear about it. Since you haven't seen that nor will you it is physically impossible to see it at the pump.
