I know one who has been very successful sell options, but yet to find anyone who has been equally successful buying options. I have a rather large position in call options between Jan-Aug this year - all at $4... so I'll know soon if I flame out, which is quite possible, or I'm happy with the options I purchase throughout the 2nd half of 2016 and this week. Most options do flame out. Probably the ones that will pay off decently will be the Aug-17 puts I sold for a net premium of $10K.
