Ok everyone...I know I am new with stock divies, but everyone said "talk to your broker"....I spoke with Etrade yest and also sent them an email so I could have a response to send to board. This is what he said:

In researching on Bloomberg, I found that the ex-date is 8/16, the record date is 8/18 and the pay date is 9/29. In order for you to have qualified for the resulting spin off, you would have had to purchase the stock by 8/15.
In researching your account, I found that you purchased this position on 8/17. Therefore, you don't qualify for the spin off shares

(i)I am not a BASHER....Just a guy trying to make some moolah....I bought LBTN for the divie when I found this board....ETRADE may be wrong, but with the my now not so stellar expectations of this stock, I am out of here....I agree I should have done my own DD (b)before(/b) buying yesterday....my mistake....will not be burned again!
