Help with a scenario using Scottrade:

I buy 100 shares of ABC @ $10.00 I like the company and hang on.

The price drops to $6.00 and I buy 100 shares @ $6.00

In the next few days or so the price rises to $8.00

My account says I own 200 shares of ABC for the average price of $8.00.

Is there a way I can sell 100 of the $6.00 shares for the $8.00 and the profit of around 33% but hang on to the 100 @ $10.00.

After selling the $6.00 shares for profit, can I again buy them again at the $6.00 if it drops again and maybe do it again?

TYIA, M
