Sorry but that 35 out of 36 inspector thing is bogus. The FAA doesn't take a "vote" on whether to pass someone on a demonstration.
They meet the requirements or they don't.
At the end of the demo, everyone reports their observations to the team leader and the senior management decides pass fail.
From what I've been told it wasn't even close.
I've also been told that the local office was very frustrated that the slide came out all tangled up. They very much want this to go forward.
But believe what you want. I personally hope they get it done this year.
