Aspen is one of the things I miss from my younger days and when you still had to drive over Loveland Pass to get there. The old Jerome Hotel and watching skiers come down Aspen Mountain.
Loved Snowmass and the Highlands.
My kids now go to Vail or Breckenridge since it's an easier drive from Denver airport.

We did some camping and hiking in the Maroon Bells up to the lake. Beautiful area.
