So Costco sells strips in some of its stores but not on its website? What do we learn from that vis-a-vis the prospects of some Sam's Club testing for Walmart, which has plenty of online strip offerings?
Which Costco store do you know of that has them? And what brand?
I suspect that all, or virtually all, Costco stores sell strips and meters, not just "some". I only shop at one Costco store, and it is located in Brookfield, CT. I don't know what brands it carries, but the article from the Costco magazine I linked to said: "Joe showed me several blood glucose meters, including Lifescan, Contour and True Metrix meters."
What did we learn - probably nothing. Except that in Costco's case, not having test strips or meters on its website, was not predictive for carrying the products in the physical store that I shop in.
Is Sams more likely to be like Walmart of Costco? I'd guess Costco since it's the leader in its retailing segment. Perhaps someone that reads this forum, regularly shops at Sams, and they can physically inspect their store the next time they are there.
