Wells Fargo and Company (WFC)

I came soooo close to owning WFC under $44. For about a month writing weekly puts in WFC was like running around in a windstorm of money. It's not often you see puts become so crazily high priced in a rock solid company. The media and politician's grandstanding (especially Elizabeth Warren's over-the-top performance) incited panic. I'm thinking that's something Buffett would think of as an opportunity.

I'm glad to keep the cash but I'd have rather got put into the shares.
