"ed the trader you stay back there in 2014 with the old ceo,DNAX is in 2016,soon to be 2017 with a new ceo with great plans. To ask a couple of clerks in a couple of stores how dna is selling, and from that conversation you think you know the whole stores business, and you think you know enuff to be posting what the new ceo should be doing."
First, let me make it VERY clear: I am PRO-DNA.
However, that does not mean that I want to see the 2017 DNA make stupid mistakes.
The reason I can talk about how DNA energy drinks sold in 2014 is because I did my research.
Cashiers who work in stores all day, every day know what sells because they see the customers putting it on the counter to pay for it. Most store cashiers had never even seen a can of DNA before I put mine on the counter and I asked them about it. Think about that. How does a customer buy a can of DNA without getting past the cashier?
They don't... and the stuff was not selling well (if at all) in most of the stores.
In the minority of stores where it was selling, the cashiers knew exactly what it was, and one even told me that she sold alot of the coffee drinks in the morning. Obviously, some people who lived nearby had discovered DNA coffee-flavored energy drinks and they came back for more regularly.
The problem is not that the drinks don't taste good, because they do.
The problem is not that the drinks don't perk a person up, because they do.
I know that first hand from drinking the stuff.
The problem is that the 2014 DNA management did ZERO advertising to support sales of their product. ZERO.
How do I know that? Because I have eyes and NEVER saw any advertising for DNA products in the local area where the products were on store shelves, and that is why it did not sell well.
Adrian has already stated that he has contacted an advertising firm to deal with having an effective advertising campaign. However, some of you are suggesting that Adrian just needs to get the product into the stores and it will magically sell itself, and that Adrian does not need that funding to pay for advertising.
YOU... ARE... WRONG!!!
That is EXACTLY why DNA became a failed product in 2014, and it is VITAL that Adrian does not make the same mistake in 2017.
That is my point... and that is why information about what happened in 2014 is CRITICAL in 2017.
