These are the facts:

Per Stephanie Diaz (PPHM IR), Dr. Gerber’s 12-7-16 IASLC’16 New Sunrise Biomarker #2 Poster was not presented since the Analysis on the final ~400 pts was not completed in time for inclusion as intended in the final poster. Recall, the orig/prelim. Abstract said superb Biomarker data for Pts 1-200, N=50, MOS 5.9=>12.5mos; Pts 300-600 data to be presented at the Conference)...

12-20-16/S.Diaz(per Cheynew post #282068): “There was no poster in Vienna. The team was working on a very tight timeframe and, despite their best efforts, couldn’t complete the data analysis in time. Given the crunch, we knew there was a possibility that we wouldn’t meet the timing, so we never issued a PR announcing that we would present. Hence no press release announcing that we did not present.”

I have been in such positions so I know how it works. A Sales, Business Dev. or Marketing guy come to the meeting and says: We should attend....

Yes but that is going to be hard because...
But is it feasible?
Yes but...(interruption) well then we will file and in case we would not be ready we can only cancel.

And then it comes ALL back to who has the most mayonnaise on his shoulders in the escalation chain.

It will not be different with PPHM. CEO King wanted to go, the team had to process the data and the data was said to be ready END DECEMBER. Then Gerber's Vienna presentation was BEFORE THAT! SO they probably thought they could squeeze things some and they failed.

The PR strategy makes sense and in a way proves AGAIN the scenario 101 theory and my theory about we don't see all the cards!

remember we were saying on here that they should get their act together because they didn't "EVEN" PR Vienna and how it was important given the findings it was disclosing? Well, cj got us the answer...there was IMO a good reason and indeed a smart strategy. Because you go to Vienna because of that presentation and its PR then the presentation doesn't come through... well that leads to disappointment.
