I have a question regarding the OTCPK.

I have not had many experiences with the OTC and the couple that I have are not good ones. I see many on this board calling these stocks "stinky pinkies" and certainly understand why.

In watching WSTI which uses both Solar and Wind energy components I compare the other Solar companies to gauge how that sector is doing. There is a "pure Wind energy" company called Vestas Wind Systems (OTCPK:VWSYF) and it is listed on the Pink Sheets. It has a $13.4 BILLION Market Cap and trades around $60 a share. Clearly it has the means to trade on the big boards but stays on the Pink Sheets and has so for a long time. I can understand a company like WSTI that is starting up being on the OTC but not a multi-billion dollar one.

The question is - why does a really profitable company keep itself on the OTC Pink Sheets?
