Sorry, I am not being combative, but when you do an audit you must deliver the information to the auditors a certain way. The auditors work on their system not yours, meaning you must forward them a file they can open and use on their computers.
100% independence must be kept at all times and the only way to do that is for the auditors to work within their system.
If you go back the info all seems to be there for the audit and that's not the issue, the issue is delivering them the info for 3 yrs in a format they can use.
