My speculation is "who you know?" That get you there. I believe because Berman has a history of making $. That's probably why he's able to secure mulitple contracts with his credibility... just my own speculation.

LinkedIn: we all know it's a professional network for jobs and credibility. People would vouch for someone if they have a great background/history.
