Ms. EZ and I were just talking today ---- subject matter of John Glenn.
I have a life long childhood friend who is huge into NASA and wrote a book on Neil Armstrong:

During the book writing he interviewed John Glenn. Saw some commentary today from him which led to our discussion.....ie. HEROES of our LIFETIME.

I could be wrong, but seems the youth of today have so little to draw from.
Our heroes....alive and fictional were the likes of John Kennedy, John Glenn, John Wayne, Tarzan, Superman, etc.

Today, seem like the only IDOLS are rappers, over paid athletes, reality show creeps and anything named Kim, J-Lo or GaGa!
